I were diagnosed with depression 2 years ago, even my councillor didn’t think I needed help as I hadn’t self harmed. Whilst growing up I had to watch some of the closest people to me self harm, it broke them, and me. I knew from then on I wouldn’t put myself through it and because of that I don’t get taken seriously. This is for those who have problems and don’t show it. Everyone needs support, with or without scars. This is exactly why I quit the therapy i was assigned to when I was 18… The first question they asked was what kind of harm I did to deal with the pain… and when I said I didn’t do anything and had never thought of doing anything, i found myself looking upon a councilor with a look on his face that read ‘you don’t belong here’ and a simple ‘oh’ and no further questions were asked… because I walked out… This. everyone has their own way of releasing pain.it is just plain stubid to just think that only those with scars suffer the most.and it is true that having scars don’t mean that you are just seeking attention no.They all need help. Be there scars or not.Most of them just don’t know how to seek help. some know how to but are too afraid of… something.

We need to focus on our own country before we can solve the problems of others hun, I’m sorry but whoever gave you the idea that everyone NEEDS America’s help? you’re coming across as the good samaritans, when you’re the reason half the wars have started in the 20th century. so please, America can set itself right again all it wants, but I hope you guys at least get taken down a peg or two, cause if it’s gotten to the point where you think you’re doing everyone a favour by butting in even when you’re not wanted, then something is terribly wrong. Go back to your school shootings and rapes and nuclear missiles, why don’t you. you guys are ridiculous. you’d rather innocent people die in another country just because you don’t like that particular country…? that’s SICKENING. I would &amp; have never ever wished that on another nation. what has our world come to? anyways, pray for Boston, no matter where you’re from. The girl I replied to said it in a way that implied America’s actions as intruding, not beneficial. It’s not sickening, fuck you. Don’t you think that country has a right to the OPTION of accepting help? Help shouldn’t be forced upon another country, it should be OFFERED. Just because America helped some countries in the past hundred years doesn’t automatically make it the Mother Theresa of the globe. In fact, America’s interference in global affairs that didn’t necessarily concern it just for the hope of somehow gaining political allies has actually caused wars and the death of millions of people. Now I’m not justifying war, nor am I trying to make any other country look better.
